Tournaments
The tournaments have been going on annually for twenty-five years now. They occur every September two weeks after Labor Day. The tournaments started in 1980 between four teams. The last tournament in 2004 had twelve teams which is about the maximum our fields can hold.
The tournaments are held at Maple Leaf Park which is located along route 34 in Earlville, IL. When the players aren't in the middle of games, they are free to enjoy the many features of Maple Leaf Park. For more information on the park visit http://mapleleafpark.com/ .
The teams start arriving Friday afternoon to play practice games. Saturday at 10am the games begin. Each team is guaranteed a full schedule of five games. The teams are seeded for Sunday depending on their Saturday record. Starting Sunday morning the tournament begins. If a team loses twice it is out. The last team remaining is the champion.
